Commercial responsibilities
Confirm the importer of record, broker and any applicable FSVP responsibilities with the relevant parties. A freight enquiry does not appoint a regulatory representative or complete a filing. Discuss product-specific requirements with your importer and adviser.
Prices and estimated schedules
Rates, available routes and schedules are shipment-specific. The quotation should identify its scope, validity, inclusions and exclusions. Any estimate for a vessel movement is distinct from a guaranteed final receiving date.
Inspection, hold, storage, missed receiving and other events can change charges and timing. Agree the relevant terms and contact process in the shipment proposal.
