CHINA → UNITED STATES

Ship snacks & dry foods. China to the USA.

Ocean freight for packaged snacks, dried foods, tea, coffee and shelf-stable ingredients. LCL and FCL shipping with US import preparation and warehouse delivery.

Packaged food assortment

From product information to a freight plan

A carton marked “food” is not enough to plan an international shipment. A sealed snack, a bag of tea and a bottled sauce have different packaging, ingredient and storage questions. Share the retail product name, manufacturer, ingredients and packaging photos before booking.

This service is centred on commercial shipments from China to the United States. Factory orders, distributor replenishment and brand inventory need a consistent record of what was shipped, who is importing it and where it will be received. Personal gifts and mixed household parcels are a different use case.

What the shipping plan should cover

Stage Information to agree
China origin Factory pickup or warehouse receipt, carton count, measurements, packaging and shipment marks.
Ocean transport LCL or FCL, cargo compatibility, loading arrangements, sailing proposal and transport documents.
US entry Importer and broker arrangements, relevant product information, filing responsibilities and possible examination costs.
Final delivery Destination ZIP, receiving appointment, unloading facilities and warehouse acceptance rules.

Every quotation should identify its start and end points. A port-to-port rate and a delivered warehouse rate cover different work. Confirm the scope in writing, including whether duties, regulatory work and any inspection-related charges are included.

Storage needs determine suitability

Shelf-stable does not mean immune to heat or humidity. Chocolate, oil-based products, delicate confectionery and some powders may deteriorate under ordinary shipping conditions. Obtain the manufacturer’s storage specification and ask whether it can be met throughout the proposed journey.

Cold-chain, chilled and frozen shipments require a separate equipment and service review. A shorter route alone does not replace temperature control.

Check product-specific import requirements

Some products need more than the standard food import preparation. Acidified and low-acid canned foods may require food-canning establishment registration and filed scheduled processes. Plant products can have USDA APHIS requirements based on the commodity, processing and origin. Confirm these conditions before dispatch.

FDA food import requirements

Prepare the next conversation

  • Product and ingredient list, retail labels and product photographs.
  • Manufacturer and China pickup city, finished carton dimensions and gross weight.
  • Batch details, remaining shelf life and storage instructions.
  • US importer arrangements, broker contact and delivery ZIP code.

Use the shipment document checklist to collect the essentials, then prepare a shipment enquiry. Acceptance and the available route are confirmed after review.

Questions about this shipment

Can any packaged food be shipped?

No. Ingredients, origin, product classification, packaging, storage needs and import conditions must be reviewed. Commercial packaging alone does not establish eligibility.

Does food facility registration mean a product is FDA approved?

No. Registration and product admissibility are separate issues. The importer must ensure that applicable requirements are met.
